Empire Knightly Orders
The Empire in Warhammer Fantasy is a vast and powerful human nation located in the central regions of the Old World. Its history is marked by constant struggle against both internal strife and external threats, shaping it into a bastion of civilisation amid chaos.
The origins of the Empire trace back to the unification of several human tribes and city-states, culminating under the legendary figure Sigmar Heldenhammer around 2400 years before the current Warhammer timeline. Sigmar’s leadership and military prowess forged the disparate clans into a single, cohesive realm, and he became the first Emperor, revered almost as a god.
Steam Tank Variants
The Empire is characterised by its feudal structure, divided into various provinces ruled by Elector Counts, who owe allegiance to the Emperor. The capital, Altdorf, serves as the political and cultural heart of the Empire.

These were done in the classic ‘box art’ style of up to 8th edition demonting that these soldiers hail from Reikland (noting that middenheim has taken over as the poster boys for Warhammer The Old World!).
A lot of options in this army and some fun alternative units such as the Longswords taking the place of Halbardiers and Archers replacing some units of Crossbowmen
