Warmaster Armies #2 Orcs and empire

An Orc and Empire army ready to clash over precious territory in The Old World.

The Orcs in the classic blacks, reds and whites. A little bad moon love shown with some yellows thrown in! The catapulting orc makes a reappearance in the custom rock lobba and freehand chequered patters are a must for any greenskin project. The bulk of the files are from from Forest Dragon range with the Trolls and Wyvern rider sourced from the appropriately named Greenskin Miniatures. The best technique used here is the green tinted resin for the Orc Shaman summoning the Foot of Gork!

Empire in their Middenland / Middenhiem regalia. Featuring an interpretation of the Swords of Ulric from the Uniforms and Heraldry of the Empire book (a very expensive book these days I confess to only seeing in pdf form). Files wise elements are taken from Forest Dragon, MiniRat and Varus Miniatures. The bases are plainer as per the tabletop ready option but there’s room for a little extra additions such as the gabions the cannon crew have set up to provide cover! My favourite model in this set is the War Wagon mounted Hellblaster Volley gun, taking inspiration from it’s appearance in the Total War games as it was never an official miniature.
